Apple holding iPhone OS 4 event, April 8th!

Apple has just announced (and released invitations) that iPhone OS 4.o will be announced on Thursday. That’s right folks, the long awaited announcement is finally here and we’ll see all of the awesome features this Thursday. I’m personally hoping for some new features, but some more realistic ones, such as:

1. Limited Multi-Tasking

2. iBooks for the iPhone

3. Updated UI look to match iPad

4. Better notifcation system and LockInfo style features.

5. Multiple user accounts (Most Likely not)

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how everything turns out, but as of right now, a techie can dream, can’t he?

Greatly Anticipated Apple Tablet To Be Announced In January

Rumors of Apple’s tablet computer has been circulating a lot lately, especially today when a possible date of January, 26th, 2010 was announced. If Apple announces their Tablet then, it will recieve the same ripple effect the iPhone had when it came out. It is likely to revolutionize the tablet computer market, cutting into  netbook sales. The tablet Mac is expected to have a 10 inch, multi touch screen, run iPhone OS (instead of Mac OS), and may be 3G enabled which will be great for portability and ease of use. Apple is also expected to sign deals with multiple companies to make their Tablet Mac a promising release for gadget lovers everywhere. Hopefully, Apple tries to make this event a good one, unlike their last dud, and Steve Jobs is personally there to introduce it. Just like the iPhone, the master of keynotes must be present for Apple’s next big leap in the tech world.
